Overview

	El Mesala Hotel is well named. In Arabic, MESALA is the word for obelisk, and the hotel is situated on the West Bank of the Nile, virtually opposite the great obelisk in front of Luxor Temple
	Our hotel has 12 rooms, 10 with views across the Nile, and our 2 ground floor rooms have a garden view. As it is situated close to the main ferry and our own motor boat moorings, you can be visiting Luxor within minutes.
	Our rooftop restaurant where you can dine on traditional Egyptian food as well as European dishes, offers wonderful views of the Nile, with its constantly moving river traffic as well as Luxor Temple and Corniche.
	We would be pleased to help you organise your visits to the famous monuments of the West Bank, or other locations outside Luxor, such as Abydos, Dendera, Aswan, the Red Sea and Cairo.

Location & Transportation

Ramla is a small community on the riverbank of the Nile. The hotel has uninterrupted views of the river and Luxor, and is close to all the usual amenities
Directions	The hotel is situated about 300 yards from the public ferry across the Nile
Transportation	We have our own motorboat to ferry guests to Luxor. We can also organise taxis or minibuses to take you around the Theban monuments
Airport	Luxor International (20km)
